What a great day
This was a day of liberation for me, I have been wanting to emancipate myself from Itunes for years and today that day has come for me by using the FREE Mediamonkey Version 3.0.6.1190 which adds support for the iPhone 3G and new iPod Touch.I am using The 3G iphone version 2.1 jailbroken and using modem baseband 02.11.07 I was so happy when I simply did a drag and drop of Al Greens great new CD and i saw that it began to Synchronize the music. now I will only to need Itunes when I am jailbreaking and hacking the phone, all other downloads for Music and apps can be performed on my wifi network and I am working on movie downloads too. Mosquit0 ringtones
Urban Legend or fact? A British gentleman (with a mean streak) created a tone fashioned after mosquito's to bug teenagers. Adults can not hear it but annoys teens with a sound only they can hear as we grow older the story is, we can no longer hear the tones created by the British gentleman. Report back to me and let me know if this is Urban Legend or fact, receiving text messages and calls that parents and teachers can not hear.

increasing your minutes
I posted a few reviews about Fring, this is a mashup program that uses Skype on the Iphone.
They have a 3.95 program that allows you to make VOIP calls from your Iphone. There is nothing new about that, but you had to use wifi to make the calls. there is now a new background pogram that simulates VOIP and allows you to use Fring anywhere at any time.
Very useful if you only have 500 minutes and you need to stretch your minutes.

Flixwagon
Okay, I had a little lag time posting this review. It should have been posted Monday. I used the flixwagon service on a 1st Gen Iphone over a T Mobile edge network. I just watched the footage from a concert this weekend in Concord California It was the JVC Jazz Festival. Okay if you are reading this Blog from your Iphone you can't see the footage because it is in the Flash format (Apple fix this please!)Please go to flixwagonto watch the footage of the show. So how did Flixwagon work? the video was a little pixelized but fairly clear in low sunlight conditions. The audio was very clear this is the good stuff now on the flipside I had a network issue and the only way to resolve this was to reboot the phone and I thought the rebuffer/upload time was lethargic. It took close to 5 minutes for 30 seconds or less of video to post to the Flixwagon site. It has a great feature that I will test and review later the ability to upload to twitter and youtube. The uses for the service is pretty vast with public and private broadcasts. I am thinking videocam from Madrid to check on the Family, leave you comments and ideas and thanks for visiting the site,come back soon

Visual voicemail is back!!!!
Okay I modified your phone and now you miss your visual voicemail, well now you have an option. I offer you visual voicemail with picture ID. you also have the option to listen to the voicemail by phone as well. they also offer "ditch call", gave your number out to someone too soon, use the service as a remedy. The ability to customize voicemails for individuals callers is a plus. Did I mention the service is free. Also if you have the instaler application on your jailbroken Iphone try using MX Tube a great replacement for the disabled youtube application on your Iphone. Tell others about my Blog, Thanks.

Sirius Satellite another music option
Satellitte radio on your iphone is another great reason to let me modify your Iphone. I am using Sirius Radio on my Iphone you will need to buy a subscription, BUT they give you a free trial to try out the service. Okay here is what I found out when using the trial sign in online through their internet media player, NOW you can log in with your user name and password. before this I got nowhere trying to log in through the Iphone application. It took me 4 trys to log in to the application but now I am loving it. i am using wifi currently and it is great with no buffering. I will be using my Iphone connector for in dash car useage. Wow are you ready to modify it yet.

Laptop and PC free for 30 days...Oh My!
Well I did it I went laptop and desktop free for 30 days using only the Iphone it felt a little weird but it went OK. I was able to do much of this because I have modified my Iphone. i did not sync my phone at all and it did freeze on me once or twice a week but I simply had to do a restart and everything was OK. The itransmography program handled a small percentage of Flash websites that needed to be converted forIphone viewing.I used the Fring application on my phone to IM and used Mobile Scrobbler and I radio (shoutcast stations) for new music, also using www.jiwire.iphone.com I did not really miss a beat and I watched and downloaded videos from Youtube using MX Tube (a great program) I also made plenty of IM's and free calls from Puerto Rico and Cancun using the Fring Application. My conclusion is the Iphone is a near replacement for a mini laptop or PC especially when using WiFi also there is a rumor that says T mobile will be offering 3G speeds in October, I hope so because I use T mobile on my Iphone. lets modify yours too.

I enjoy using Fring on my Iphone and when you couple this with Skype up to 10,000 minutes of call time can save you big bucks look for my earlier review of 10,000 minutes for 9.95 or less you can purchase Skype here for as low as 2.95 and keep this blog going, thanks. Will you or won't you buy the 3G
It will be here soon and these are some of my views. Hold onto what you got for a few weeks,If I modified your phone wait to upgrade the software. The "Community" is looking into options to modify the new software. The device seems to be a nice bump in technology. I believe the I tunes application store may make the difference for the new phone,lets wait hope and see. The pricing plans are a bit of a strong arm tactic. They just are high in my opinion. The new prices for the Iphone are good when a 2 year contract is signed. They should also be selling a non contract Iphone in the new future for a big buck price. I am holding out for a few weeks, if you have seen my phone in action you will understand why...it is an amazing tool customized to my needs. Iphone angst resolved..."I don't need no stinking warranty!'
Whew!!!! I do not care to explain how, but my Iphone took a bath recently in liquid soap. I freaked out the touchscreen froze and was unresponsive. My heart sank, what could I do I hacked the phone. Apple will not honor the warranty on an unlocked iphone. I put the phone back into its original OTB condition. I took the phone to the "Genius Bar" at Apple they looked at the water sensor damage code that is in all Iphones, they verified the damage i told them about and said it will cost 249.00 to fix the phone because Apple does not cover water damage. I was crestfallen as other patrons at the Applestore store stared at me to see if I would pay...I sulked on my way out of the door. 3 days later I went to a "DIFFERENT' store with a 249.00 mindset I truthfully explained what happened to the Iphone he checked the phone gave paper to fill out for repairs. went to the back room bought out different Iphone put my ATT Sim card in activated and said no charge and have a nice day. WOW!!!!! My faith in Apple was shook now I'm a believer. I went home and unlocked the phone and I am super happy with my Tmobile unlocked Iphone...again.
